Ready to become an Idle-Free School?
Schools can complete at least two anti-idling activities to be recognized as an Idle-Free School

2. Fill out the Idle-Free Interest Form

Request and display official "No Idling" near pick-up and drop-off lines and on school property

Share our anti-idling information with parens, caregivers, and staff through email or informational flyers

Engage students through an anti-idling lesson or activity

Creat a no-idling policy for your school and add it to the school handbook

Share anti-idling message in your newsletter, announcements, or social media

Have students, staff, or families take an Idle-Free Pledge

Hace a RAQC staff member present an anti-idling presentation to staff, PTO, students, or board members

Add No Idling stickers to all fleet vehicles
Once you have decided what activities your school wants to participate in please fill out our Idle-Free Interest Form here. We will be in touch shortly after with resources and ideas to make the process easy for you and your school.
3. Get Your School Community Involved
The more people involved, the bigger the impact! Encourage students, staff, families, and administrators to make turning off their engines part of the daily school routine
4. Get Recognized!
Once your school has completed at least two idle-free actions, submit your information to the RAQC to be recognized as an Idle-Free School and receive your certificate.
Idle-Free Schools may also work with us to get personalized stickers or other fun Engines Off items, while funding lasts.
