Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE)

The Air Pollution Control Division provides air quality education and outreach resources to empower individuals, communities, and students across Colorado to take action to protect their health and the environment. Their programs support air quality awareness and science-based learning. To request materials or learn more, please fill out the Educational Materials Request Form.

Idle Free Schools Toolkit: Includes information that helps schools and communities run effective idling reduction campaigns. This toolkit provides resources that focuses on student-run science or community involvement projects. 

Sustainable America

I Turn It Off: The anti-idling campaign produced by this non-profit offers educational resources on anti-idling across the country. Through the I Turn It Off Campaign you can find tools including flyers, posters, and videos. Their anti-idling pledge allows you to join millions of people across the country who have gone idle-free.

Idle Action London

Idle Action London: is one of the leading anti-idling programs in the world. They passed a law in 1986 making it illegal to leave your car running while stationary on the road. Idle Action London includes immense educational ideas and resources to get schools, local governments, and the community involved in anti-idling campaigns. 

Green Driving America

 Schools are Not Drive-Thrus: addresses the harms of unnecessary vehicle idling. This project focuses on student-led campaigns committed to improving clean and efficient transportation. Includes stories from individual schools' and students who have gone above and beyond to keep their communities healthy.
